Cookies on IntegriCite

IntegriCite does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. This page explains the limited cookies used for sign-in and session security.

Necessary cookies

IntegriCite uses a first-party session cookie when a journal administrator signs in or moves through authenticated parts of the service. It is used for:

These cookies support functions the user has actively requested. They are not used to track browsing behaviour, build marketing profiles, or measure advertising performance.

No tracking cookies

IntegriCite does not run Google Analytics or similar site-tracking tools. There is no analytics banner because the service is not asking visitors to opt into tracking; it only uses necessary sign-in and session cookies.

Third-party sign-in

If an administrator chooses Google or LinkedIn sign-in, that provider may use its own cookies on its own domains during the authentication flow. Those are separate from the first-party cookie set by IntegriCite.

IntegriCite does not use cookies for tracking, but an external identity provider may use its own cookies while completing the login step the administrator requested.
